Inspiration
Laurence came to our partnership with a clear vision for her perfect sunglasses – a 1970s inspired, oversized silhouette. Her mission was to create a versatile, sophisticated style that would compliment any outfit from polished to casual. We explored multiple possibilities until we hit on a perfectly proportioned square shape.
Development Process
Keeping it classic with the materials was crucial and Laurence chose two essential tones from Mazzuchelli, Italy – an inky black and a rich taupe – then paired these acetates with tonal lenses in slightly lighter tints so the eyes are still visible. For a bit of playful glam she added a vintage-inspired shade of a crystal acetate with subtle gold glitter.

Our very first partner launch, Laurence's timeless oversized square is now a proven wardrobe essential! The new Chocolat adds a decidedly 70s vibe while staying true to Laurence's Parisienne soul and classic aesthetic. Rich translucent chocolate brown paired with warm gradient lenses offers a versatile and elegant neutral option to elevate any look.
